It takes two.
I thought one was enough,
It's not true:
It takes two of us
You came through
When the journey was rough.
It took you.
It took two of us.
It takes care.
It takes patience and fear and despair
To change.
Though you swear
To change,
Who can tell if you do?
It takes two.

Oh my! Is it over and we are done?

Into The Woods is one of my favorice Broadway Shows....lots of real insight if you study the words of the music...and in that production, the tales that ended in "happily everafter" in the story books, took an unexpected twist on the stage...real life in fact.
ReplyDeleteThe question you raise Oh my. Is it over and we are done?" certainly carries forth the theme of the play...No!! It is not over and we are not done!!!
Perhaps the tryst of the two in your last photograph is over -- Were they both just a one night stand (or just opportunity knocking)maybe-- but for real lovers, not so! It continues on and on..
Thanks for the posting here...
I LOVE 5TH PICTURE....
ReplyDeleteTotally beautiful words! What is over? LOVE?

Give me a man that can hold his itch
Onto my knees, I'll bark like his BITCH!
One little, two little, three little pokies
Four little, five little, six little pokies
Seven little, eight little, nine little pokies
Ten little pokies MORE!
Just play'n on some words...hope all is well. Or, if not, working its way in the right direction!!!
