Good morning all! I know that a large majority of you are in the middle of cold,wet, even snowy winter weather right now. And I gotta say how super glad I do not live up north any longer. But even if you are snowed in or freezing your balls off, that is no excuse not to get together with a couple of buddies and get naked. I firmly believe that being naked with friends really adds to the bond we share as Queer men. Ok, getting naked with friends often leads to sex. And maybe it should. Is there anything more important to your Queer sensibility than being sexual often and with whomever you choose to be with? I think not! Buddha always said something like it is the journey that was important not the end game. And we as Gay men,need to remember that. Listen, I am NOT str8 and I do not want a str8 life… I am who I am because I have sex with other men..period!
I do not know if any of that makes total sense or not. I just do not understand those who are gay and try to make their life look like they are str8! I do not usually do this..but I read the great article yesterday about not wanting to be like str8 people. If you have the time read it here .
Wow, I had no idea this is what I would post about this morning. Maybe reading that article and picking out these photos of group of naked men. Anyway, let me know what you think.
Being gay doesn't necessarily equate to tons of sex, but it is the one thing most srt8's on the right have against the gay community, "Those people are promiscuous!" Well, that statement is ridiculous. They aren't promiscuous, they're MEN. And men are hard-wired for lots and lots of sex. I, for one, say "Go for it!"

ReplyDeleteI must admit I disagree a bit though. If you are gay and the sexual nature of your life is what defines you, then that is absolutely wonderful, however not all gay men are the same just as not all straight men are the same. I think everyone needs something to define them in life, and it isn't always their sexuality. I am Bisexual, but I don't really define myself as that, I honestly define myself by my veganism more so (even though sexuality is a part of my life).
Some other people have religion, others have politics. I'm just saying not all gay or bi guys identify exactly as you do with what being gay, and it doesn't mean they are denying themselves nor does it mean they don't want to be gay, just that it isn't what defines them.
We are all different and that what keeps things interesting.
